Eythal Is Not Trying to Out-Discount the Giants but Rebuilding Indian E-Commerce From the Economics Up

Eythal is a technology-driven e-commerce platform built and operated by Vishvakta Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Unlike marketplaces that retrofit old systems, Eythal was engineered from the ground up as a full-stack commerce platform catalog, discovery, payments, fulfillment, and seller tools  designed for Indian market dynamics.

The company is incorporated in Tamil Nadu (CIN: U62020TN2025PTC185841) and is preparing for a region-first launch across Tamil Nadu, starting with furniture, home decors , appliances , kitchen, kids, appliances, and related categories.

The problem Eythal solves

Indian e-commerce is large but structurally broken for many participants:

  • Sellers face opaque fees, pay-to-play visibility, and logistics models that compress margins
  • Buyers pay prices inflated by platform waste and inefficient routing
  • Regional manufacturers are underserved by centralized, hub-first fulfillment

Eythal addresses this by designing waste out of the system – not by burning cash on endless discounts.

Mission

To give India’s sellers a platform that pays them fairly, and India’s shoppers a platform that prices fairly without hiding either behind fine print.

Vision

To become one of India’s defining e-commerce platforms – not by outspending incumbents, but by out-designing them: transparent economics, trust-based discovery, and proximity-led fulfillment.

Products & services

For buyers (Eythal.com):

  • Multi-category marketplace across 15 launch categories and 300+ subcategories
  • AI-adaptive discovery – search by intent (budget, use case, delivery need), not just filters
  • Hybrid Shipping 2.0 – orders routed by seller proximity, weight, and courier availability

For sellers:

  • Transparent commission model (flexed by category and performance)
  • Real-time net margin visibility – no hidden fee stack
  • Performance-weighted visibility (ratings, fulfillment quality — not ads alone)
  • Negotiable commission for top performers
  • Seller onboarding, catalog, pricing, and fulfillment tools

Platform (built in-house):

  • 150+ backend microservices
  • Active-active cloud infrastructure (Mumbai & Delhi)
  • Enterprise-grade security (mTLS, private CA, WAF)
  • Full commerce journey owned end-to-end: onboarding → returns

Traction & milestones

  • Platform approximately 75% built — launch-ready, not concept-stage
  • 150+ microservices deployed; active-active infra live
  • 15 categories, 300+ subcategories cleared for Phase 1
  • Seller pipeline engaged; 5,000 sellers targeted for Phase 1 onboarding
  • Independent DCF valuation: ₹85 Cr (31 May 2026)
  • Phase 1 funding requirement: ₹13 Cr
  • Launch target: early Q1 2027 (Tamil Nadu first)

Most Indian e-commerce stories begin with a pitch deck and a discount strategy. Eythal began with frustration and a workshop.

Eythal.com Founders spent years in the United States designing large-scale distributed systems for enterprise environments. They saw how technology, when built correctly, could make complex operations simple, reliable, and fair. When they looked at Indian e-commerce, they  saw the opposite: opaque seller fees, orders routed through distant hubs even when buyer and seller lived in the same city, and discovery driven by ad spend rather than quality.

They did not see a market that needed another app. They saw a market that needed a different operating model.

That conviction led to Vishvakta Software Solutions . and its consumer brand, Eythal.com  a full-stack commerce platform built from zero , not a marketplace layered on rented technology.

Building before pitching

While many startups raise capital to start building, Vishvakta took the harder path first. The founder returned to India and architected the platform end-to-end with limited technical help . More than 150 backend microservices spanning catalog, discovery, cart, payments, fulfillment, and seller operations. The infrastructure runs active-active across Mumbai and Delhi on google cloud  designed for national scale from day one.

Co-founders Sakthivel Koothan (head of product engineering)  joined to turn engineering depth into a launch-ready business. Today, the platform is roughly 75% complete  across the board  not a prototype, but production infrastructure awaiting commercial launch.

The insight that became Hybrid Shipping 2.0

One of Eythal’s core innovations is Hybrid Shipping 2.0 :  a fulfillment engine that routes each order based on real conditions: seller proximity, buyer location, shipment weight, courier availability, and cost. If a furniture maker in Coimbatore sells to a buyer 40 kilometres away, the order does not need to travel to a distant regional hub first. That single design choice  proximity over centralization  lowers fulfillment cost, speeds delivery, and lets sellers price more fairly without hidden platform tax baked into every rupee.

Combined with transparent seller economics (commission flexed by category and performance, with real-time margin visibility) and AI-adaptive discovery (buyers search by intent; sellers earn visibility through reliability, not ads alone), Eythal is building what the team calls fair commerce by design.

Choosing depth over noise

Eythal’s go-to-market strategy deliberately avoids the national discount war. Phase 1 focuses on Tamil Nadu 15 categories, 300+ subcategories, and a target of 5,000 sellers  proving supply density, repeat purchase, and unit economics in one micro-market before scaling.

What comes next

Eythal is raising ₹13 Cr for Phase 1 launch and validation, at a pre-money valuation of ₹85 Cr (independent DCF, May 2026). The capital funds go-to-market execution and seller onboarding  not engineering from scratch. Launch is targeted for early Q1 2027.

The long-term vision is clear: prove the model in Tamil Nadu, scale to a ₹100 Cr business, then expand toward a ₹1,000 Cr enterprise resetting how Indian e-commerce creates value: through efficiency, transparency, and trust, not extraction.

Eythal is not trying to be the fastest-growing marketplace in India. It is trying to be the one that lasts.
